Creighton Markovich (he/him) is an American actor currently based in Saint Louis. He graduated with his BFA in Acting from Lindenwood University in May of 2024.
Originally from the small town of Paola, KS, Creighton's start in theatre was rather unexpected. Until the ripe age of fourteen, his sole dream in life was to break Omar Vizquel's Major League record for the most double plays turned by a shortstop. Ever the athlete, baseball is a true passion of Creighton's to this day, but dreams are ever evolving. Following his eighth grade math class, he became determined to make a name for himself as a groundbreaking applied mathematician and award winning professor. Academics and athletics have always battled for Creighton's attention, and he tends to them both with love.
Theatre, on the other hand, had never crossed his mind as anything more than the high school fine arts elective which would be easiest to pass and least distracting from his 'real' studies. Little did he know that same Introduction to Theatre class would open his life up to extraordinary change.
By the second semester of that freshman year, he found himself in the last place he ever thought he would be: on the stage. In a musical, no less.
By the time he graduated high school, acting had not only become something he loved, but something he was certain would take him to the ends of the Earth. He finished with straight-A's in all of his 'real' studies, but it had become clear to him there is nothing in life more real than good acting.
That is why he is so grateful to live every day in the pursuit of the craft. He never feels more alive than when in the rehearsal room, and constantly seeks to better himself and his art.
Creighton is so thankful to all the brilliant mentors who helped him realize and elevate his passion, to his friends and family who have been amazingly supportive along the way, and for the opportunity to make a career of the art he loves.
